case what model?

Hello can u guy Id this case tractor I just got? It was a free b cause the clutch was stuck. I freed it up and it works good now. Also the power steering don't work, the pump has fluid and there seems to be pressure in the lines. I cracked both lines on the pump and fluid came out ta both. I posted a pic but not sure if I did it rite. Here goes[/url]

Looks like a 310b utility.

Agree with Zach, from what is showing looks like a 1959 310B. Look on the cowling where that red arrow is pointing for model/serial nr tag.

310B was built from 10/1/57 t0 9/30/59. They were designated as model year 1958 and 1959. If yours is a 310B, it is a 1959. Is the model/serial nr plate where I indicated? Post serial nr, it will confirm the year built.

Would the 8 lug wheels not indicate either a 510b or 610b? 310b would be 6.

True..... Although I have a W5 wheel loader and was told the drive axle is from the 300 series tractors. It has 8 lugs.

Case parts lookup clearly shows 8 lug axles and rims for the 300B Utility

The 210b had the 6 bolt hub with jam nuts on the inside.

My 311B is 8 lug. As far as I know all the 300B series tractors are 8 lug. In any event Skidduh should be able to clear this up. His pic clearly shows the model/serial nr tag or a different shade where the tag was very recently removed. My pic is location of tags on the 300B series that I have seen. Maybe other B number series tractors have tags in that location? It has a spline hub steering wheel which makes it about 99.9% sure to be 1959 model year if it is a B series tractor.

Well it appears that it it's not COM,. And I think I have only seen a few 510b tractors ever so, I'm with Joe on the 310b still.

The General Purpose models are all 8 lug, but according to the parts manuals the Utility models were 6 lug through 6128059. 6128060 and after were 8 lug. I had not caught the mid year change and assumed the change occurred with the 30 series. That would make this one a later 1959 model. Lee

The tag on the dash was removed before I got it. This tractor has a backhoe for it too I just haven't picked it up yet. The only other numbers I have are the ones on the loader frame
