Got the 1370 trans/torque housings to split tonight. Rod, the trick of putting a bottle jack under the drawbar and lifting and waiting a bit worked. I kept four bolts in, two at bottom two at top, each with about 1/4 slop, so nothing could get out of whack when it popped. Sure enough it popped and then we proceeded to split.
Saw the problem right away as we were rolling it apart, the hollow shaft from torque limiter to power shift was twisted off right in front of power shift, which makes total sense, since all hydraulics worked but transmission was not running at all.
Question, is A150144 the right part number for this shaft? Also, when you look at one of the pictures you'll see the gear at front of power shift got a little damage when the hallow shaft twisted. Is that cause for concern, or just leave it as is, no harm? Don't really want to dig into that assembly if I don't have to, but sure don't want to be splitting this again anytime soon.
Thanks for all the help guys. This has actually been a pretty fun project so far .. so far, lol!
