Engine Noise

I have a 51 Vac that makes a chirping noise after the engine warms up a couple minutes. I have a solid 110 pressure in all cylinders and I disconnected the fan belt from the engine so I can eliminate the water pump and a fan pully.

Last fall I noticed smoke coming from the valve covers and shut the engine down. I then seized up and I let it sit all winter. This spring it unseized but started the noise. My fear is I have spun a main bearing and not sure where to go from here. It ran very well last summer and no water in the oil when I changed it.

Anything else I should look at before I consider a new engine? Would it be asking for more problems to replace the main bearings? Or am I looking at a complete engine teardown only to find the block is no longer any good. Anybody have good results just replacing bearings? What would something like this cost? Thanks for any guidance.

If it was my tractor and it seized up I would have never started it without dropping the oil pan and checking the bearings. If it did spin a bearing you are doing serious damage running it.

The gauge doesn't show any pressure. I took the valve cover off and plenty of oil around the rocker arms.
