Where to look for '51 Case fenders?

John Saeli had some "flawed" fenders from a bunch we made here in Cambodia about 12 years ago. He may still have a few left. They'll need some dinging & painting but are made from and original mold. The 51 fenders did not use a cast base but a steel base. The fenders are the same from the 49 SC to a 1960 830. LOL

Don,

My brother is a quality control engineer with GM. He told me that they would never try to make a clamshell fender without a three part press. The cost is exorbitant today. I don't know if i can locate the original molds. They cost us a bunch back then, but may still be in the back room of the machine shop. I'll check, but the market is very limited and quantity is the problem. I don't see a price that isn't half what most of the tractors are bringing. Who would pay that ???

We are almost out. Don L. invested a huge amount of $$$ in having them made here in the U.S., but the final cost is holding him up. (Would they Sell?) is Don's dilemma. Maybe he will chime in.

I make the repair panels for the ribbed clam shell fenders yet....
