Got the 430 home, I have some questions

Happy Easter All!

Made it back from the Michigan trip. Started looking at it pretty closely, and I have some questions I hope you folks can help me with. First, the PTO will not turn off. I assume the
handle on the back is what turns it on and off (pic included). Looks like there might be a leak that needs repaired too. Any thoughts on how to adjust the PTO? Places to get seals for the
repair?

Another pic attached of a pedal under the brakes. At first, I thought it was a foot key for the throttle, but it doesnt do anything when i press it down. Maybe a diff lock?

What kind of motor oil to use? weight and so forth? Where to buy paint, and what are the paint codes?

Thanks for any input.

Starting with the PTO, You will probably have to take it off and replace the brake cone. The adjustment on those PTOs was very touchy. The spring and roller with washer on the end of the lever is supposed to engage the brake, but if the drive plates are a bit warped, you can't get the brake to engage properly, due to limited room for the engagement fork to move in the housing.
The pedal under the brake pedals is a foot throttle.Pull the hood off and explore the linkage. It is pretty simple and you may have a sheared taper pin locking an arm to the cross shaft.
As far as engine oil, any good 15/40 will be fine. Torque tube and tranny I would recomend Hytran plus from your friendly CNH dealer, or A good universal hyd. trans fluid, as it is an all gear drive.
The paint looks very nice. I would buff out the sheet metal and perhaps pick up a couple rattle cans of power red from your CNH dealer to touch up the chasis.
