830 Slowly Taking Shape

My son and I have been slowly piecing this tractor back together. The instrument panel and some electrical need to be installed yet. Then the finishing touch putting on decals would wrap this project up. Rod.

If I may ask what color is the paint - when I got my first 300 the color under the hood seemed more tan-- much like your color. To m when I look at so many new paints they look to have more yellow in them. I have often wondered why but never really asked. I have a fender I got from an old barn thet was 100% perfect with a small ding. I looked otherwise like brand new -to me it seemed more tan like yours is. Maybe its me but I do wonder. Beautiful job.

That looks real sharp!!! Now I want one too! If you went into a Case dealer's lot back in the 60's and seen this tractor there , how could you leave without buying it? Such a eye catching tractor, and a real good work horse too. Nice work, looks beautiful.

Rod,
Wow! The ol' girl looks great. You going to have to wear slippers so you don't scratch it when driving. LOL

Rod!! Looks great!! How did you get the Grill Screens to look so new? I don't know of anyone re-producing them for the Racine Tractors.

Thanks John, the grill screens did need a little reshaping and then sand blasted and paint, ya they turned out nice. Rod.

Sure does look good Rod, you can tell you take the time for details, many times forgotten in this day and age. Thanks for letting us see.

I bought a chrome eagle on Ebay for my VC , it only had a decal on the nose. Now I see where they come from !! Excellent job, love the look of the rear wheels !
