Injection pump help

Looking for some Injection pump wisdom, recently purchased a 504 power unit that has been sitting for about 10yrs, previous owner said it ran fine when they took it off the Irrigation well and stored it. When he tried to start it prior to selling he could get fuel through the filters to the bleed screw on the injection pump but no fuel through the pump to the injectors. I'm guessing that things are just varnished up inside but how do I go about freeing it up?

Did you check to see if the rack was stuck in the pump, or does it move freely?

Turned out that several things were varnished up inside pump, 5 of the six pistons were varnished up in their bores and the rack was varnished up as well, took a couple of days soaking with some lacquer thinner and tranny fluid to loosen it all up but started it this afternoon and it sounds good.
