We started gathering sap at 9:00 this morning. It started raining about 11:00 and about 12:30 whe had a thunder storm rumble through which droped .9" of rain in about an hour. On the way back down the farm road which was resembling a creek was washing bad so I decided to pull out in the feild and make a track to divert the water into the ditch rather than running down the road. Well Some Beach, I thought I was on solid ground, but it was a little further from the top of the snow than I thought. The uncle came and pulled me out and then opened up the ditch the rest of the way down with the 5250MFD and loader.
It was a good thing my boots had holes in them to drain most of the water back out, but those felt liners sure soak up a lot of water.

Loren, soggie socks! and oh sh!t the good news is the socks will dry and the 440 will clean up nicely................but the family memories will live on, we all have been there and done that and yeah know we still will continue to do that.Loren did the cab take on any water? hee hee thanks for showing us the reality of early spring places we thought we could go, wish I had a nickel for ever place I went where I shouldn't have.

Loren did your new cab stay water tight hope so looks nice and now it fits you got a little mud on her sometimes that just feels better like its yours.
