SC Exhaust Elbow Stud Size

Can anyone tell me the stud size (length) for the (4) studs that mount the exhaust elbow on an SC manifold? I am finally getting around to replacing my broken manifold a corner is busted out of it where the studs go into it from the elbow). I had to pull the elbow off of the new manifold in order to mount my center exhaust elbow on it. Studs are in rough shape and could use replacing. I know the top (elbow side) is a 3/8-24, which would probably make the bottom 3/8-16. Anyone know the correct length? Any help is appreciated! Here are some photos to help clarify.

I have been told i'm very fussy about getting things done right however: in the case of manifold studs where none are broke off (yet!) I would run a die on the threads and use them as is. might find longer nuts to use all the threads that are exposed......
your pic of the 41' was so awesome, its the background on my computer. chuck

I am concerned about using the existing studs. Two are in great shape, and I have cleaned them up with a die set, but two are questionable simply because I had to split the nuts with an angle grinder and had consequently (barely) cut into the studs. I was able to clean them up with a die set, and it seems that the nuts are secure when I thread them on.. Maybe I will try to use them as is. Otherwise, I may be looking at replacing them.

Having the picture of my SC on your computer is quite flattering! Thanks for the compliment!
