Going out on a limb here but top piece in both pictures is power red IMHO. I personally believe power red is more red than orange and flambeau is more orange than red. Like them both. Don

The bottom is painted with power red and the top is painted with Flambeau red don't see where either piece is red one is darker then the other but they are both orange both pieces were sand blasted and primed with the same primer.
I just did this to compare. I had painted the torque tube on my 300 and I saw on here a week or 2 ago a guy painted a 830 chassis with power red and it looked lighter then my 300 parts. Which paint is supposed to be the darker the power red or the flambeau.

Flambeau red is redder or darker than power red. Most older tractors have faded more orange than either color.

LOL !!!
Don and Loren, I respect both of you guys immensely but I think you're both color blind. Nickatky and 88 have it right. The top one is redder, darker, more vibrant and is Flambeau Red.
Just scroll down a few lines at the recent post about the 930 CKs. Bandit posted pictures of a few tractors. The last pic is a late model 930 CK re-painted in Allis orange or faded flambeau or what you guys call Power Red. The second to last tractor is in its original paint and for sure very faded but is redder non the less.
I'm not arguing personal preference. To each their own when you paint your own tractors but you guys keep saying Power Red is redder than Flambeau when it clearly is not.
I can back this up by simply walking down the line of Flambeau era tractors at a Case featured tractor show and when they're all lined up side by side, you can pick out the lighter oranger Power Red tractors a mile away and so will anyone you ask which is more red or which is more orange?
Another way to tell is I have a 430 I purchased after somebody did a very nice repaint using Power Red. Well that was years ago and now the repaint is peeling off and exposing the original paint underneath and the Flambeau underneath is darker, deeper and redder. I don't know what else to say.
