300 serial #s tags

I'm looking to probably buy 2 300 wide front AG -with missing ID tags. Opinions- how would you expect the lack of ID tags to effect the value. Would any one have a couplet tags with # I could buy ? Any ideas or input is seriously welcome. For now thay are parts ,but I think there is at least one good running complete tractor in the pair.

I have often thought about this problem. Here are some of the options I have considered,
You could stamp the model number onto the new serial tag and leave the serial number area blank.

Stamp the model number and in the serial number area put your engine serial number.

Stamp the model number and try to determine the year and stamp it into the serial number area.

If you put a tag from another tractor on, I would inform potential buyers that it is a replacement tag.

We had a reproduction made for our Case LA by Jerry Sanders and it looks exactly like the originals. I would go for having a new one stamped he does a great job.
