case 600B value

im looking at this case 600B the guy says its been sitting 2-3years the carb is off but he has it and it needs at least 1 rear tire he says its complete he says it ran good and drove good. im thinking 400-500 in its present condition but I thought I would get some opinions before I made an offer on it. thanks jt hawk

I would agree with you on price. You have a fair amount of fixing to do and 36" rears aren't cheap.

Unable to suggest a price.I purchased a 610B...required a carb re-build, engine oil change, plugs, points,dist.cap,plug wires, battery, all Oil filters, front tires were garbage, rear tires are fine. Engine is a 188 and burns oil. Has a loader and came with rear tire chains and operates well. I installed a Canvas Curtin (heat-Hauser) I paid the asking price of $600.00 and have never been sorry. I also picked up a 610B as a parts tractor as I required the 3 point hitch for the above tractor and paid the asking price of $300.00.This parts Tractor has no front tires and one like new rear tire. One rear tire and rim is garbage. Engine is said to have a garbage crankshaft. Tractor looked pretty good.

Yours must have had an engine swap somewhere along the line, they came out with a 164 dry sleeve engine originally.

Yes sir. Engine was removed from a Case 600 Combine.
