I replied about the Case dealer on tractor talk, but I'll put it on here, too. I don't have any decals or dealer id, unfortunately. The dealers name was Shantz Bros. and they were located on Utica Blvd. in Lowville NY. They have been gone a long time now. I do remember them showing off a Case 930 upon their introduction, at the Lewis County fair pulling contest, if that helps any with the time line. I believe they sold one or two of the Case 4 wheel steering 4WD units also. They retired shortly after that. If my memory serves me they also sold Brillion and maybe Clay equipment, also.

Don, thanks for the info. Our Don Rudolph here is the guy compileing the list. My memory is getting bad, so what was the name of the Case dealer in Polaski. I used to drive to Lowville and then take Rt177 west to get to them.
In the winter there was a farm a few miles out of Lowville on the north side of the road. The snow drifted rite up on the roof to it's peak.

Pulaski is south of me quite a few miles. I can't help you on the dealer name. Sorry. I believe Monroe Equipment in Adams Center was the next closet dealer. I believe they sold Case before they were Case IH.

Yup, 177 gets real nasty driving at times. Tug Hill gets the real winters we all THINK we are getting.

Looks like next week is going to be a bit milder. Looks like it's time to get serious about getting the sugarbush roads plowed out.

And yeah, I know the farm you are talking about. It's no longer an operating farm, but the buildings are still there. I always figured being in that barn during the spring must be about like standing in the middle of a pond.

You are both correct, it was Coe-Petit before Monroe Equipment took it over. Some things I remember clear as a bell and other things completely slip my mind, or "alleged" mind as my wife would say.

I may have gotten parts from that case dealer, were they the ones perhaps that were right on what we used to call the Y and for a while the name was Mullard's or something like that.
