After using my 1970 JI Case 870 for an hour or more my 3 point wont raise with the inching petal / clutch pushed in but if I let the inching petal out it raises with no problem. This happens while mowing hay or hogging etc. What could I be looking at to repair this problem?

Bob, will it raise in reverse with the inching pedal out all the way, Rod.

I never tried that Rod, for what it is worth , when I bought it the filters hadn't been changed in a while. I have had it for 5 years give or take.

Try that , just curious how that works. Can just leave the 4 sp in neutral when testing it in reverse, Rod.
