Rebuilding a 60 in deck (K48) to use on our 18 hp 446. Belts and blades cost right at $150, hope this thing eats grass, Rod.

I get those belts from a bearing house for $17 apiece. Couldn't afford the high priced parts from the Ingersol website. I have run a 60" deck for quite awhile and if you hit a object it slips a few cogs and takes the ends off the blades because they get out of time. I have new sprockets and it still does it. The fella I bought the deck from said it was an expensive deck to operate and he was right. Some times they slip in wet heavy grass. Course you probably have a golf course lawn and won't have any trouble.

Steve I wondered what would happen if we hit a object. I am sure it will happen, I better check out getting replacement belts some where else. No belts on this deck when I got it so I had nothing to compare with, it was bought as a parts deck but I wanted to rebuild it, Rod.

Is that Mitsuboshi Deck something you adapted to the Ingersol from something else, or is it made for the Ingorsol, or does Ingorsol supply it for their tractors?

John the K48 deck was made by CASE 25+ years ago, but for some reason Ingersoll is getting those belts from Mitsuboshi now, Rod.

They do a wonderful job of mowing when set properly. After running 44 and 46" decks, it was like mowing with a 12' swather. Mine is on my 446 16 hp and doesn't know it is under the tractor. Pulls very easy. Some of the decks were center delivery and I've been told some right hand, mine is left hand delivery.

That's good to know they do a nice job. I know the later decks were RH discharge, but they require a later tractor also. Rod.
