Don, ran across this ad in a December 2, 1954 Genesee Valley Penny Saver. Avon is in western New York, kinda south of Rochester. This dealer is before my time, but the building is still there.. "Kurtz-Hodge Implement" is cast in the concrete over the front window. I think the building last housed a business that did jukeboxes and such, but its been quiet a long time...

Thank you very much for posting this ad. It seems that Case went after a lot of car dealers right after WWII. This usually lasted until the mid to late 50's. Very few made it into the 60's. I think the car companies didn't want to have their dealers that closely tied to farming. Don

Hey don I have another dealer name for you. New Carlisle Tractor out of new Carlisle, Oh Im not sure if you have it but my grandfather went to school with the boys who owned and operated the dealership.
