Case A6 Combine and Windrower

Pictures of the A6 combine and windrower my father sold several years ago. The A6 was fun to work on and had a 4 cylinder Hercules engine on it.

Dad had the exact same combination. He pulled the windrower with a VAC with the wheels set as narrow as possible by turning the wheels dish in to fit between the windrows.

my dad had the model f-2 pto drive with a 49 SC as the power horse ,,. he paid for it al in 2 yrs custom combining on the knob hills and ohio river bottoms ,, it was virtually a trouble free machine ..

Sure brings back memories. We had a A-6 with a Wisconsin motor and the same Windrower as shown. Pulled the Combine with a DC and the Windrower with a VAC.

Thank you for the replies and stories.
We sold them because they were taking up a lot of shed
space and hardly ever got used. The Hercules engine was
having issues running. I had removed the grain tank to
square up the main drive pulley(Didn't get it squared
up before it was sold.) Hopefully the people we sold it
to are taking good care of them and are enjoying them.

Conner always enjoy your posts, gee the 6 and the swather look good, I really love the "A6" and some day will get mine going.
Enclosed is a old picture of mine, we were moving it to the "back" of the shed where it is today.
