A friend of a friend was asking about camshafts on a crossover. Said he knew of one that was broken. Question for the brain trust, is can you find replacements, is it a known weakness are they repairable? It might be for sale and was wondering what a value might be. No info on motor, but pic I saw looks complete with lugs.

Thanks.

I finally got a pic.

Nice looking tractor. Do you know what size it is?Is the engine stuck? Looks very similar to my 18/32. Price can be from 2000 or 3ooo on up to 8 or 10,000. Depends on condition and location.

Looking at it more ,it looks like the lugs are missing on the rear. Sure looks like an 18/32 to me. Where about is it located?I am not interested in buying, just would like to see up close if possible.

That is a later 18x32 because the fenders are ribbed. Broken camshaft can be inspected by removing the side covers and seeing what's damaged. Never seen one snapped before though.

If it's a later 18/32 , it could be after the K
designation was added. That would make it a K
tractor.
