970 joystick controler

Posted this on the implement page too, but was wondering if anyone ever put a joystick controler in for a loader (970 Case) and added another hydraulic controler and what would I be looking at for cost. Got a new to me WL42 loader and though it would be nice to have plus another remote to run the blower spout. Thanks

Lots of information in the archives. You will have to check with a local supplier for costs.

put this new miller loader on 5-8 years ago for a customer, he wanted his remotes to be free so I plumbed this three spool valve in live, the left hand lever is a joystick ( raise/lower and bucket tilt/rollback) and the right one is for the grapple, price then was not cheap 800.00 or so with everything but he really likes it cnt

That looks just like what I want, I wont need the extra one if I tap right into the line like you did as I will still have the 2 factory outlets. Thanks alot, guess I better save up a little santa money now. Although I shouldnt complain as I started with an M and a trip bucket loader and now have a real tractor with a real loader and a snow blower!

Got the Joystick and cables and hydraulic valve bank for about 900 bucks from Hypower. Still have to plum the system in yet. CNT I like how the controls are mounted on the side of the stearing counsole. Good idea.

I have a question about the spool value you installed on the Case 970, did you come of the supply from the pump to the IPTO control, before the control? Where did you pipe the return line to?

We had this discussion a few weeks back, they are taking pump flow through the loader valve then going into the tractor system without benefit of a power beyond sleeve and a loader valve drain line. It loads the complete loader valve with system pressure anytime the remotes or hitch is used. The photo does not show a case drain as far as I can see.

I know this is an old post but I have a question, For my Case 970 with loader; could I plumb in a valve with power beyond sleeve and have the tank drain port go to the rear hydraulic fill on the tractor?

Yes, the valve with the power beyond would have the valve case drain anywhere there is no system pressure to sump.
