My wife came to the shop this morning and noticed I was doing some touch-up to our second 1370. She said don't you have anything more important to do! I thought this was kind of important taking care of the fleet. She likes to quilt so I said this is very similar work. It is something you do not have to do but enjoy doing. Neither job pays very well. It does cost some money to do them. You hope when you are finished that you like the results. Well I do. I had washed and degreased the chassis then using only one rattle can of Power Red lightly went over it just to brighten it up. Then repainted the rims and touched up rusty and chipped areas on the cab. Before doing any painting I reworked the cab step so it is turned out, installed a new block heater and repaired a couple small oil leaks. Wish I had taken a before pic. Rod.
