I know it is not a CASE, but...

I was returning home after eating lunch with my oldest grandson at his school and passed a Green 1959 Chevrolet Apache 32 Fleetside, with a for sale sign in the front window. It was behind a fence with a locked gate. I backed up looked at it and got the number and called and the lady asked $15,000.00 for it. Looks like fairly new tires, and recent paint job. Some dings and such. The truck is located south of Birmingham, Al, on AL 119, west of US 280, and on your left, about 3 miles, or east of I-65, about 9-10 miles on your right also on AL 119. In case you are interested the number is: 205-613-4428. It was to rich for me.

My 1st pickup, I bought for $300 in 1973, was a '59 Apache w/ the 6 cyl., "3 on a Tree". I'm guessing it was the 235. Had the old big block. We called it the "Stovebolt 6", but I don't know if the real "Stovebolt 6" was built that late. Great old truck.

Dad had a creamery in So Mn in the 50's and bought a new 57 Chevy 3/4 ton stepside to deliver milk in. The local high school shop class built him an insulated box for it, in return for school milk. Dave
