I don't know where to go. My 530ck gas starts and run's the best but when under a pull it don't seem to have any power and will pop back through the carburetor. I mean pop hard enough that it will blow oil out of the air cleaner. New points, condenser valves set right no miss when running. No uneven cranking when starting like a bad valve. It just starts pulling down pretty quick and blows back through the intake three or four times and dies. It is not like it is lean on fuel. This is the one that when I bought it would not rev up and the cam gear came loose. I fixed that. Don't know what to try next.

I should have said when it is digging and loading runs like new. Just when pulled down hard it does this and it seem weak on power. I can run it at half throttle digging and if hooked to something tough I can pull the engine down pretty good. It won't or I have not had it pop through the intake at that time. It is when driving it is when this happens.

Are you sure that your distributor is in time with the engine as little as one tooth advanced can make a big difference and are the weights in the distributor free ,as they will advance and retard timing mostly advance they likly to be sticky after a while and sometimes a spring will break.I had a bronco like that and found the distributor was advanced one tooth.

good luck Bob

Are you sure you have the camshaft timing right? I had a TO-30 Ferguson that ran exactly like you describe. The camshaft was out of time. Have you messed with the distributor timing?

It starts with a bump of the starter. Run and works like a new tractor. It is just when you pull it down to like a 1,000 rpm it won't lug and pop hard thought the intake. The guy I bought it from put a recondition dist in it. It seem like the shaft is a little loose to me. The dwell on the points might be what it is. I have a different distributor I could put in it. That would be the only thing I can think of that might be causing this.

The tractor starts and runs like a new one. Push rods out of place the tractor would run like crap! It runs good until you pull it down to where it should start to lug then pop pop through the carb and dies. Will start up and run good.

I am taking a wild shot here but shouldn't the hyd. Relief kick in at some point because if it doesn't than the engine should lug down and maybe stall . because you said other wise it ran good

Just thought I will go back and reread your post
