I would like to know what a VAS offset is worth. I believe it is a 52' model It is not running and the engine is not stuck but it comes with poor sheet metal and no fenders and the rear tires hold air but are mismatched and the fronts are there but tires need replacing. And also it has been converted to a 12volt alternator and there is no belt pulley. It is a basket Case but I do not want to see it scrapped and with cost+ shipping I would be looking at around $1500- $1800. My question is I know how many were made and that they are pretty rare ( especially around here) should I go for it and risk sleeping in the shed for a few months OR take this weekend to drown it out with some 100 proof and convince Myself the whole thing was just a dream. HELP!!!!

The sheet metal is the same as the late model VA series. The fenders are VAS only. They may be hard to find. You might be able to cut down a set of VAC fenders. The one I have is complete & straight older repaint paid 3500. about 5 yrs. ago. Steve

S.Mac That is a sweet tractor You have there and those fenders are a lot shorter than standard (they do look like a true clam shell) Thanks for posting You have given Me something to think about.

Does it have cultivators with it? That's a lot of initial investment. I saw one for sale in NC or SC on Craig's List not long ago for a very reasonalbe price. Where are you? If you decide not to buy it, post the seller's info. on here. There may be someone closer than you that is interested.

The real question here is when are you going to leave and get it and return so I can see it? :D I see you are from Oklee? Would your first name be Terry?

Bryan

If I am not mistaken I think I rent some land from you. I am from Crookston. Do I have the correct family?

Bryan

Bryan You are correct sir. I had planned on meeting You during deer season at My In-laws But I was out in the barn skinning deer and by the time I noticed You were over You were already driving away. This summer I should be around the farm quite a bit. I look forward to meeting in person and having a wobbly pop or two with You.
