I have been working to put away wood for next winter. Been splitting the last 4 weekends. This will be the end. Can put the helpers away soon and enjoy the remaining winter. The 580's hydraulics are used to power the splitter. Rod.

Rod, looks like a job well done. Nothing smells better then a good wood fire.
I hope someday I can get my Monarch cooking range hooked up and use it.
Love the Case's too

That is a good setup. I have a friend that has a late model Case Hoe. He made his log splitter so it attaches in place of the hoe bucket. He can sit in the tractor split and move wood any place he wants. He can clamp logs and hold them up to cut. It is a high priced wood splitter but does a heck of a job.

Gosh we would love to have a wood burning stove like a Monarch. My wife has been searching for several years for a nice wood cook stove but they are a hard find in this area, Rod.

Rod, they are still around here, in fact Wife said the other night she saw a Monarch for sale like ours online someplace around here, and it was very nice for 1000.00, which I thought was to high.
Will keep my eyes peeled for one for you if you like?

Dan if you see something in nice original condition for a fair price by all means let us know, thanks, Rod.

Will do Rod, that other one isn't far from me, but a grand is too much, he might want to sell it so, let me know if you want to to do further snooping, I know I only saw a quick pic of it, and it was very nice.

Dan I have no idea what a fair price is for a stove, but yes a grand is probably a little more than we care to spend, my guess is $500-$700 is more in line with our budget. Just let me know if you see anything of interest. Thanks, Rod.
