I have acquired a VC in rusted and ignored condition for I don't know how long. The more I look at it, the better it looks. All sheet metal is in good condition, though rusted. The tractor is 1941/42 model. Very complete, except that it's missing the entire seat assembly.
I have a couple of questions for the Case experts:
1. Where can I find an original seat assembly?
2. Are parts/manuals available.
Thanks in advance for your advice.

You found yourself a neat little tractor. I have a seat assembly for a VC, however, some of the parts have been modified over the years. If you are handy with a torch and a welder you should be able to get it back close to original without a lot of work. I tried to post photos but the file size is too large to upload. If you are interested, email me and I would be happy to send you photos of what I have and also photos of what the seat assembly is supposed to look like. If you want what I have, you are welcome to it for the cost of shipping. Just let m know. Have fun on your restoration project. Randy

I also just picked up one , mine has a hinge on the upper part of the seat mounting bracket! I'll get some pix for you later in the week, Anybody got a spare cast iron belt pulley ?
