This COM would slip quite easy. When driving it and apply the brakes it would not take much to get it to stop in either COM or Direct. You could feel something break loose and start slipping at about the same pull regardless of COM or Direct. Has good COM press at over 1300 RPM. I sort of expected the multiple disc clutch to be bad but everything looks good except the larger ball brg on the output shaft. Any ideas on what is going on here are certainly welcome. The bushing in the output shaft needs replacing and I will replace sealing rings but they all look good. The book says in order to remove the stator, first remove the roll pins, but does anyone know how to remove them? I thought maybe they got tapped down, but they did not seem to move. This is my first COM repair in 20 yrs, your advice will be greatly appreciated. Rod.
