210bh value

I may have an opportunity at a 1958 210bh that currently has a blown head gasket. It's Partially restored and the hydraulic hoses have all been upgraded. The backhoe functions normally according to the owner.

Any thought on value for this unit? Thanks for your input!

I paid 4500 for my 310 BH and am very happy with it. Very useful on my farm, along with being an old Case. I bought this a couple of years ago, the pic was taken as I'm ready to load it for the trip home

Engine is the greatest difference, I think. The 210 has a 126 cubic inch and the 310 a 142 cubic engine displacement. Case sales lit lists the 210 at 25 draw bar HP and 30 PTO while the 310 is at 31 draw bar and 42 PTO. Factory numbers so at least they're comparable. Lighter duty I suppose, but not all that much. I use mine for pasture culverts, creek cleaning, stump grubbing etc and an occasional trench. Mine was stored inside and other than a brush paint job at one time works well. The issue with mine is the origonal owner did not know what a grease gun is and the pins and bushings are well wore in the dipper and boom along with the boom pivot area. NLA anywhere so I have to fab new stuff. You can't really tell w/o running the unit, just beware
