leaking head bolt on vac-14

just completed rebuilding case vac motor. after running for one hour I noticed antifreeze coming up on head bolt that is near the goose neck for the radiator hose, would be bolt# twelve on the torque sequence for head in service manual.retorqued head and leak persisted. I then took nut off and coated nut and stud with pipe thread sealant. this stopped the leak. I think this stud passes through the water jacket in the head. is my repair sufficient or do I have another problem. don't want water in oil.engine was shot and cost me a lot to rebuild. any help greatly appreciated

you may want to retourque all the head bolts and also did you use the indian head glue shellacthat is what i always use to help with sealing the head gasket never had on come back yet

I used copper coat. I think the particular head bolt passes through the water jacket just in the head but I'm not sure that's why I'm trying to find someone familiar with this particular engine. nothing in the repair manual mentions sealing threads of studs in block. other tractors I've restored had mentioned this in the manuals.
