Assuming everything was stock, what size rear tires,
both standard and optional were available on the 1030
CK. Also would anything bigger bolt in place of the
factory hubs and clear the fenders? Im trying to
figure out what size rears tires ours had on it. I
have looked at literally hundreds of them on the net,
and havent found one that looks even remotely like
the tires/size we had on ours. I suppose ours could
have had some kind of adapters maybe and a wider tire
used.

15.5X38 , 16.9X34 , 18.4X34 , 23.1X30 and if it were a later one it could have had 18.4 X 38 or 23.1 X 34. I think that was all the options.

most around here had 16.9 or 18.4X38's for row crop use. I think I worked on 1 north of here, wheatland, with 23.1X34's. did not have 3 point, just a drawbar and 1 hyd hookup. Old boy pulled his chisel, disk and field cult, rest of the time it sat in his shed.

Thank you gentlemen! None of those sizes rings a bell with me, but gosh its been years ago since I have even seen it. Just got curious about it one ay! Thanks again.

John, my Dad bought his new '69 1030 CK rowcrop in late '70. According to the build card it had 18.4-38 from the factory when it was shipped out, but it was delivered to the farm with 20.8-38. I presume the dealer did the switch since I've never seen the big tires offered in the factory option lists.

mine was built September of 1968 and came new with 23.1x30's, now has 18.4x34 power shift wheels and when I put the cab on I might go back to 23.1x30's or up to 23.1x34's. I like the big rubber and with the cab I'll have all the clearance in the world!
