Case 646 tractor

I recently bought a Case 646 tractor and noticed the hydraulic fluid is low. What type of fluid should I use on this tractor?

Drain it out and replace with Rotella or Delo 15-40 engine oil.

Are you talking about the hydraulic system or engine?

along with what was stated,,,everysmall 30 series that I ever got had the same problem that you should watch for ,, migrating hydro oil into the tranny ,, caused by bad seals on 3pt ram under seat ,,fluid leaks rite into trany,,

this is a totally different tractor than the "30" series,, they are a all hyd drive "Compact" tractor or as some call them "garden tractors",, this model had a factory installed built in industrial loader, this is the 14hp 644 the 16.5 hp 646's little brother

Gordy, I have a 6018, and just went through a 1000.00 worth of steering hand pump (hyd.) issues, I drained out Rotella, and going to put in 20W50 motor oil. The owners manual I think recommends 20W40 motor oil on the 6018
