Triple Range

Does anyone know if a tripe range can be added to a tractor with just a 4 speed trans? Have a 211 with standard 4 speed but does have hand clutch for live pto. Wondered if a triple range from 311 or another model could be added. Any info would be great.

Yes, You can add a triple range unit to 211B with a standard 4 speed transmission. You'll need the triple range assembly & the shifter cover from a donor. You will need to split the tractor at the junction or the torque tube and the transmission. Your 211B will have a shaft with splines on both ends in the place of the triple range unit. The triple range assembly will replace the shaft and a collar on the front side of the transmission casting. The triple range unit will bolt to the front of the transmission casting and extend forward in the torque tube upon re-assembly.

I added a triple range to a 430 with a standard 4 speed several years ago. My memory is a little foggy, but I think you can use a triple range assembly from any donor from a 300/350 Roundnose, a 200B/300B/500B or a 430/530/630. Good luck!

Thanks Joe! I was hoping for a positive answer on that. The 4 speed had limited abilities doing some hay work that I might be using this tractor for. Come to think of it, I think I have a duel range that I can rob off a 210b parts tractor I have. I just had triple range on the mind for some reason. Was the dual range only an option for utility's and the triple for the row crop? Also why didn't they offer triple for the casomatic? Thanks!
