Can't get the clutch to disengage. Feels like nothing is attached to the clutch pedal. i saw in an older post someone had a problem where the linkage broke from the fork inside the clutch housing. How can i repair the fork or linkage end? I suspect my 310B has the same problem. Does anyone know if it could be a welded repair or is their somewhere to get parts... fork, linkage

thanks

Well, you have a pic from one of our best 300 athorities. You should be able to buy a new button head rod and fork if needed from CNH.or John Saeli on this forum. If you have welding skills and equipment you can easily repair your rod and fork.

Bluebird you're most likely looking at a split but before we get into this, save me some writing.

As I remember it you had the tractor split to work on the clutch. Did you renew both the pressure plate and the friction disc?

When you mate the block to the bell housing it sometimes hangs with a 1/2" to 3/4" gap as in the pic.

Did you need the leverage of the studs and/or bolts to draw that gap closed?
