RC lower radiator hose

Hello, need some help with the lower water inlet on the block of RC? How is the elbow supposed to attatch to the block? Tractor has the FC waukesha motor. Tractor has a jam bolt welded to the mag base right now. Looking at my parts tractor I am wondering if it should be a bolt into the block or maybe a stud in the block? Thanks, Mike

The elbow has a bolt that goes thru it into the block. They are usually rusted off in the water jacket area.

Ok, that is what I suspected, will try cleaning up block and see what I find. Do you happen to know what the bolt is threaded into? Will I be drilling out broken bolt into water jacket? Blind casting or crankase? Thanks, Mike

Right in the center of the hole you should see the end of the broken bolt. I believe it is in the block but doesn't go all the way thru. Be careful and not drill any deeper than the bolt . You have to drill it out then re-thread for a new bolt.
