anything is possible with a torch and a welder but why? That's like putting Buick brakes on a Toyota, tons of work for nothing!

i was asking if they would fit with little modification. i don't like the drum brakes. and disk brakes are cheaper.

The drum-disc combination you have is very efficient. Re-line kits are very economical. Earlier 530's did have double disc brakes, & from what I can tell, the splines are the same. Therefore, a double disc brake unit from an earlier series CASE should work. Those discs are $43.00ea. USA.

my 530 has the disk/drum setup on it and it'll stop a loaded wagon pretty quick. You had asked about putting brakes from an IH super on and that is a completely different spline size and tooth count.
