Restoring a '47 sc that was my grandfather's first new tractor. Am going to restore the model h 2 row cultivator that went with it too but missing the sheilds. Does anyone have some or know of someone that does that would be willing to part with?

That I do not know. I don't know what models of tractor the model h all fit on. Do you have pics? From what my father says...many guys took them sheilds off and chucked them in the iron pile. Looking for a needle in a hey stack as far as I know!

(quoted from post at 03:59:51 01/12/15) I may have a few VAC cultivator shields. I doubt they are the same, though?

If he can't use them on an SC I would be interested in a couple of VAC cultivator shields if you have them!!
Here is the tractor I need them for.

The H-series cultivators only worked on the SC, the DC, and maybe the CC tractors. There were at least two different shield styles available. Also, the shields for the VAC tractors are not the same. If you can find any, you will need to adapt them.
If you are looking for functionality, you could just get some old Farmall sliding shields, adapt the mounting brackets, and then paint them to match.

Nick,

I can send you a sketch of any missing shield parts that you may need. Mine are the ones that move individually, not the ones that move in pairs. They would be the correct ones for your cultivator.

Christopher,
Do you have any pics of your shields? I need to look at my stuff. I think I have a butchered set of shields, but I believe they are for a DC. I will let you know if I need the sketches. Thanks Nick
