The little hydraulic cylinder under the seat on ALL of my AK seats appear to be wet. All but this one that looks dry but was obviously wet at one time. How do they work? What's inside? If I pull the cylinder out....it stays out. If I push the cylinder in....it stays in. There is resistance. Haven't taken any other seats apart to see if the other cylinders act the same.
Are they supposed to have resistance both ways? I presume there should be oil inside? If they're wet...do I presume they've lost their oil? Are new cylinders available for purchase?
