I remember Mr Stevens. Some where in the late 70s my dad was looking for a small diesel and traded a 1929 C for a 430. As much as I liked using the 430 I always missed the little C. I also had a 1030 that was sold new there.

Hi Don, I was out riding around with the camera today and remembered this place. This was the Case dealership in Sherburne, NY, located on rt. 80 right on the edge of town It was owned by a man named Edmund Gardener. I remember my father buying a side delivery rake here back in the 1950s. Edmund also owned a farm about 3 miles farther west. I know he was still in business in 1953. He sold Case tractors and farm machinery and New Idea equipment. I think he was closed by about 1960 though he was still farming in 1965. We also had and Oliver and an IH dealer in town in 53. The closest dealer,IH, is 20 miles north now. The building is owned by the village now and used to store vehicles.

Dave, The 444 looks good with the front blade and weights on it.
There used to be a Case dealer west of Madison on US 20 just before where you turn to go down to Oxford also. Do you remember him. I think there is/was, a BOSES facility there now.

Dave,

Thanks for posting these pics of a former Case dealer. It is amazing how small a building used to work, compared to present day buildings. I'll add them to the list as well. Don
