frozen precip.

None here in central Iowa, Christmas Day was partly sunny and in the forties. The creeks/cricks are still running no ice on the lakes or ponds. We had two weeks of December cold in November, so we were "owed" a few weeks of moderate temps. Sounds like winter hits this week with lows in single digits and highs in the twenties. tom aka gobble

Chuck, here in west mi. we had mud for christmas. There talk'en least amount on record for the month dec.(snow) temps are to get back ta normal next week......which means "lake effect" ask me at the end of febuary.Put over 200 hrs. in the seat of ah 8ft. snowblower last winter for the farmer I work for. To TOM!

I hope that the wx you are receiving now will help serve your crops in the upcoming spring. Oh by the way, I will endeavor to be a little more specific which Tom I raised the question to.HEE

Chuck; How many Tom's do you think hang out on this board???? I did not think you were speaking to me but.....I thought I would give the weather report just so you would know-I pay attention to your posts. BTW, 45-55 degress in the shop. Nice to have a heated space to work on stuff. Unfortunately neither of the two vehicles in the shop are tractors, at this time. Blessings TOM

Tom T.

Glad to see the shop was finished in time for the heater switch job. What kind of shelter did you have before that?

Did not work on anything thru the winter as the tools and the tractor metal would be the same temp or colder than air temp. My fingers would get cold with in 15 20 min. Just was'nt worth the pain or slow going. So did not work on much when it was cold.tomturkey

Tom,

Mud has never been my friend, I always slip and fall/ Only one time in my youth did I enjoy mud. I pulled a John Deere out of the sand box with my DC -4 HEE!
