The photo was taken last June at my friends Mike and Gary Yaeger's shop just NW of Helena. I had the horn in my car as I had played in the Great Falls Municipal Band's weekly concert the night before. Gary wanted to take my picture and I suggested that I get the tuba and pose next to his 15hp Case steam engine. Since I am known as Tubacase47 on his thread on Red Power, the occasion was perfect.
The tuba and the steam engine are from around 1905.
