Pics arn't what you might have expected, but I ame at the turning point from design and fabrication to detail finish work and paint. All 4 panels front, rear, right sidefull panel, and left side with door, all are removable as I hoped. Had to remove the rear wheels to drill and tap holes for the smaller panels to enclose the rear axle housing to the cab. (details-details)
Did some more fabing on my hyd. control counsole and added a a temperary extension to my dual rang lever, to see if I liked it. I think I will go to plan B, a lever like on a 7-1030CK on the side console that I will build, that will bolt to the black support bracket holding the hyd levers. O well, just another days work, HeHe.
At 4:00 I sat down in my pondering chair with a barly pop, and have mu MOD 3pt Eagle Hitch all built in my mind. Just need to find a couple of hyd cylinder at Surplus center that I can link into a fabed rockshaft mounted in the unpainted brackets in the pic. and then jusr hook the hoses to one remote.

Bro, I really like the new "lever console" that will be cake to set the parking brake now! I am looking forward to the hi/lo linkage! I can see why you was not happy with the extension, darn tip top job!! Sure wish you were not 1800 miles away!

Looks like things are progressing well, that will be the envy of the 430 owners club for sure, Rod.

Nice job Loren! Sure looks a lot of work, but going to be real nice when done. Hopefully I'll get to see it when it's done.

I bought Erector Sets for three of my grandsons when they were young. One gave his back when his mother bought him electronic toys and I passed it on to another younger one when I thought he was old enough not to lose the little screws and nuts.
Guess which ones can fix most anything mechanical.

Loren: You do realize that 50 years from now, some researcher somewhere is gonna go batty! Factory (who's gonna know) cab on a late 440, w/ Eagle Hitch & dual remotes!! Plus your other modifications!!

Be easy on the range lever extension. The shifting forks have been broken with the short lever. That extension makes allot of leverage on them. The cab looks good. Might could work into a full time job.
