Just bought a running DB 1200 in pretty good condition. Planning on using it as I restore it. Parts manual finally arrived so I'm ready to replace filters, fluids and gaskets. Any recommendations on where I can find filters and gaskets? Living in rural NW OK so most parts will have to be ordered off the internet.

Napa, Carquest both carry Wix filters in their own labels.

Fuel is Wix 33166, Engine oil is Wix 51313

The power steering and hydraulic filters are available from various sources, besides Case(expensive).

If the boots on your gearshifts are cracked, replace them before you start having hydraulic issues.

Change trans fluid and clean the suction screen/change filter(under belly) if you suspect that your oil may be contaminated, or hydraulics are erratic.

Make you own gaskets... Not hard. Oil pan, rocker cover and other engine gaskets are available aftermarket(this site sells them). Otherwise most are going to have to come from Case.

Don't lug the engine, they don't like heavy loads below 1800 rpms. You will break the crankshaft.

Change the oil in the injector pump, no one ever does.

Thanks for the help. Lots of useful information here. Tracked down most everything but the filter for the power steering pump. Filter shows to be 902187 which I can't locate. Same drawing shows a baffle p/n K929292. Is it the same part with a different name?

That number crosses to a Fleetguard LF614. I haven't used that one on any of my machines, they all have the thinner pancake shaped filter.

What are the dimensions of your filter?
