Detroit Conversion's

I have 1 tractor and 2 trucks with IH 466DT engines. I also have several tractors with 504 motors and one with the Case 451. The IH motors can't hold a candle to the Case motors. The only reason to do it is for the challenge.

It would be a lot of screwing around. You would need some kind of adapter plate for the 466 to the Case torque tube. Then need to figure out if the powershift input shaft was correctly engaged in the TL discs. Then figure out how to drive the Pto/hyd pump shaft off the IH flywheel. Then to find an IH oil pan with the correct sump to clear the front axles on the 1370-2670. This is just getting started.

Dale: Where you been? Missed busting on you & lighting your fuse. Why on Earth would you want to replace a real Engine w/ a "buzz-buzz" engine?
