In the midst of tearing down our DC tonight we realized that the
hubcaps were different from each other. Does anyone know which
one is the right one for this year of Case? Any input would be
greatly appreciated.

It almost looks to me like the CASE name on the left cap was stamped or forged into the hot casting there the cap on the right has cast letters. Could one of them be aftermarket from long ago?

Mike- I kind of had a feeling the one with old abe would be the correct ones since he happens to be on every other part on the tractor, thats funny though that the dc-4 hubs just say case.
By the way our club shirts should be in by next week so we'll be headed up your way soon. Thanks for the input. Austen

Austin, here are a couple of pictures to muddy the water a little more, the first is a 1936 CC3, the next is a1949 DC3, Mike

Mike, I had no idea there were this many different variations of Case hubcaps. You have got quite the selection, Austen

I looked at some of my tractors with that style hub caps this morning. My 30 CC, 39 DC, and 40 D have the caps just like yours with no Eagles. My newer DC's and everything after that have the ones with the Eagles.

When these were cast they were probably cast with a pattern that included many caps at one time. It is not uncommon that there will be some differences.
