What did I get for my VAC-14

I purchased a top link listed to have came off a VAC-14. Not having one to start with I saw it was marked with VT-600 had a mounting pin and the spacer so I thought I had found what I needed. Not so fast the mounting pin I found is way to big for the bracket on the VAC. The diameter is 1 1/8 inches. the center to center as shown in the photo is 19 inches. the question is what did I purchase and is there a market for it?

I believe what you have is a top link for a 300.

The turnbuckle VT600 is the same for VAC & 300.

The bracket end (LH) eye of your top link is 300 series and some others in the nr series tractors.

The eye will accept a 1-1/8 pin, however, the correct mounting pin to fit the 300 series mounting brackets is 15/16" to 1". The pin may be larger for brackets on other nr series tractors?

I will take some pics of my VAC and 300 series top links and post tonight or tomorrow.

That is for a number series tractor, but you can make a bushing to fit the clevis pin on your VAC and most people will never know the diff.

You can also have a welder make one out of a piece of large threaded rod and flat plate.

I am not very familiar with the 14. If your bracket is like the parts pic, you need the same top link as the other VAC's.

Joe is correct, your VAC-14 uses the same toplink as a regular VAC. Nick

It may not be correct for the police, but it will work and it appears to be a good since is about as short as it will go. Many of them have damage on the threads.

Nick I spent way too much. The seller as agreed to take a return and refund the purchase price of $258.00. Would you want this or wait to see if it goes back on Ebay

VA top links usually bring under $100 shipped.
