case 411B tachometer

i recently purchased a 411B. it runs great but the speedometer and tach cables were removed. I found the speedometer location but not the tach. I looked everywhere, can anyone help?

Front of the top torque converter/hydraulic pump and valve cover underneath the fuel tank, sticks straight up ahead of the com valve at the very front of the cover

thanks mEl,that is where the tach is? then where is the speedo cable? I must got them backwards

The speedo is inside the transmission. You have to
lift the cover to get at it. Finding the rubber
seal plug for the cable will be the trick, I made
mine from auto heater hose.

Also John Saeli has the cables at a much lower
price than Case if you can get them from Case.

The tack cable is on the back of the generator. If the generator was replaced it may not have the tack drive on it. I've seen the tack drives for sale on the web, just don't remember where. Tom
