Well, it has been a slow process, designing and fitting the front, rear and two side panals into this ROPS frame, so they are bolt in design and easily removed in the summer. It is starting to get there. Everything is hand made and welded into place in the frame units. Lots of drilling and tapping also for the mtg. brackets and sub frames. As any of you know who ownes a 430, they arn't the easiest to get on and off from. I scuttled the idea of the RH door, as there was brake pedals, foot throttle, rang lever, and my relocated remote controls in the way for me to get my size 13 Clyde Kidilhopper work boots routed between everything. The door on the left was a real challenge to design, because it had to clear the rear tires with chains on, and they are set in narrow. I ended up with a design which gave me a decent door opening and the door's geometry allows it to swing forward as opened to clear the front of the LH tire. It's kinda goofy looking, but it works.
I put the finishing touches on the front windshield assy today, and got it in paint. Tomarrow I will install the windshield, and hopefully have good luck cutting the glass for the two cowel windows. The back window assy just needs all the spot welds finished off and brackets fabed to hold it open, and then paint. Still have some sheet metal fabing to do on the sides.
