Question about light switch

I need a new light switch for my 1370. Case wants over $100 and after market is around $48.

Are these after market switches any good?

I have been burned with after market switches before they are not made the same as factory.

Do the after market switches work the same as OEM case?

P.S> I need john Salei's (spelling maybe wrong)phone number

If your switch burned, wire in a relay. A lot of times additional lights will draw significant current and eventually fry the switch. Pick up a relay that will handle the current, at least 20A and it will solve the burn up problem. A big plug for LEDs that draw small amounts of current compared to Halogens or typical filement lamps

If it is possible to trace the wires for the lights and place the relay on the other side of the cab connector but relays are the way to go.

I have used a couple of the aftermarket ones.

One has been fine for several years.

The more recent one left the rear lights on if you weren't very careful about how you turned it off. I pulled it and got a replacement(was from A&I), the replacement leaves the the rear lights on all the time, unless the front lights are on...
