CASE SC FLUID LEAK

I notice on my left rear wheel a fluid leak which seems
to come from the axle. What may be the cause and how
hard will it be to fix. thank you in advance for your
time and response. Allen

Allen I just fixed mine on a 52 case sc. personally I made one from a horse blanket(pad) most are made of 3/4 inch felt similar to the original seal. What I did because removing the wheel is no big deal but because I have huge heavy weight on the wheel ,I simply removed the 4 bolts on the end of the axle bearing cap. Note: there was no seal at the end of axle on mine just the bearing however there is room for one. I made a small seal and Because the weight was to heavy to remove myself I split the seal covered it with grease and installed the split at the top of the axle. It was meant to be just a quick fix Took me 20 mins. That was more than a year ago still no leaks. Good luck!
