188 tach drive

I've been looking in the archives but can find the answer. I put a late modle 188 diesel from a case skidsteer in my 430. Can a tach drive be installed in this block.

Some where I saw a kit to drive the tach off the back of the alternator.

So all late models have the cam with the gear for the tach drive? I just find me a tach drive and pop the cover off and I,m good to go.

Maybe John Saeli or one of the Joe's will know for sure.

Only works on a generator though and John has the
drive unit and tach cables to hook it up. The
original units are no longer available but John's
replacement will work perfectly, doesn't look
quite the same but function is what you are after.
