SIL text this morning asked if I could help today. Dads-brother farms. Suppose to get 12 inches of tomorrow. Dad will be making stacks till the snow flies tonight.

That's not old equipment.Old would be the stuff I was using in the late 80's and early 90's. Corn planter was a 694, combine a JD45 EB,. Did have a fairly new tractor, 1970 770 CASE.

Looks like well cared for older equipment.. The newer stuff breaks down too ! The most reliable combine we have ever had was a 1979 1460 that we ran till it had 5000 hrs. on it.

agreed with others ,, that is jut Proven well maintained , odd engineered lasti ng equipment that has paid for itself many times over ...

Seems just like yesterday Dad was picking corn W/a Super M and a 2ME.. Pastor John and I would move the harvest to the corn crib with the DC-3 . A Shot of our Dad-- John Reynolds Sr. Thanks for the pics! They bring back fond memories.

Those machines do just as nice a job as the newer stuff and I bet their paid for. Looks like a well cared for fleet. Know anyone in that area who could use a good 1440? In this area there is just no market for a machine that size anymore. Sounds like the heavier snow may have gone north of your area. We have received only a dusting yet. Rod.

Agri King where you farm at? We just got 3" of wet heavy snow an some rain/sleet later in the day. Nice 1175!!

Bryan, Menomonie WI. Yep we got the same mess as you then. Rod is correct from what I heard, it went north. Luckily the snow turned to rain.

Yeah I c most of it did an glad it did! Im not to far from you then probably 30 miles. Im between Cadott an Jim Falls an 3 miles east of lake wissota.

Looking good Eric! Nothing wrong with older well taken care of machinery either! One of these days I will have a 1066 open station to play with :)
